A Wonderful Human Being

My grandnephew, Xander Spethman is a faithful and loyal young man, but after 4 years of being in a relationship, living on his own, and culminating in a move to Colorado, she walked away from their relationship, and Xander moved home to be with his family again. It was a heartbreaking time for him, but the move has really been the best thing for all of the family. They missed Xander deeply, and he missed them. Xander and his brothers, Zack and Isaac, as well as his sister, Aleesia were always very close, and now, things have gone back to normal with his brothers and his dad, Steve Spethman being best friends. Of course, my niece, his mom, Jenny Spethman loves having him home, and she knows that while his heart is wounded right now, this is the best thing. Xander brought his dog, Rocky with him, and they have a very special bond. Dogs are amazing like that. They can sense grief and sorrow, and they just instinctively know that their human needs much love. Rocky is his loyal companion, and he is always waiting at the door for Xander every time he leaves the house and every time he returns.

These days, Xander works at LG lawn services and loves it. He has a great boss who is appreciative of him and his hard work. He is happier every day. Xander, his dad, and brothers have always loved going out shooting, and with the warmer weather approaching, they will again be out honing their skill in preparation for the upcoming hunting season. Of course, with the warmer weather will also come lots of lawn work, and Xander will be kept very busy at work. The really cool thing is that he has always loved the great outdoors, so this job is perfect for him. I don’t think he has ever wanted to be couped up in a stuffy office or warehouse. Time spent outdoors is always his first choice. The family loves going hiking on Casper Mountain, and in the winter, snowmobiling too. They never lack for fun activities, and of course, Rocky gets to go along too, which makes them so happy.

Xander is a great brother, and an inspiration to all of his siblings. His sister, Aleesia always knows that Xander and her other brothers are there to protect her. When she was very little, and the boys were playing outside, she would often stand at the window watching them and yelling for them to get back in the house. She was the little boss, having been born after the loss of her older sister, Laila Spethman at just 18 days old. Aleesia was the rainbow baby that helped heal the hearts of the family, and the boys watched over her carefully. Xander, being the oldest, knew that most of what had happened, and felt the most responsibility for his sister, but all the boys protected and loved her. As Xander goes forward in his life, I know that his past experiences will continue to make him a wonderful human being, who will one day make a wonderful husband and dad. He is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet, and I know that everyone who knows him would whole heartedly agree. Today is Xander’s birthday. Happy birthday Xander!! Have a great day!!
