My grandniece, Aleesia Spethman is a bit of a homebody. Oh, she has friends, and enjoys spending time with them, but she is also very close to her parents, Jenny and Steve Spethmam. Aleesia has a couple of best friends, and she got to take them and go to Waterworld twice this summer. It is her favorite thing to do. Aleesia, Jenny, and her sister, Liz Masterson also went to a Toby Mac concert with Liz in Colorado. Toby Mac is a Christian band that was one of their bucket list concerts. It was so fun and a great bonding experience for Liz and Aleesia and Jenny.
Aleesia likes being at home the best, but her friends come over a lot. Still, two of her best friends are her parents, and of course, her brothers too. At this point, Jenny hopes that doesn’t change. She like being best friends with her daughter. Of course, there will be other friends as time goes by, but the close bond of family is something very special 
indeed. She likes doing girls night with her sister and her daughter.
This summer, Aleesia has been helping her dad and brothers build a fence. Aleesia was a big help. She loves her dad very much and she rather likes being a “daddy’s girl” to her dad. Aleesia likes learning things that only Steve can teach her and he loves teaching her those things. Steve is very talented and is an artist in his own right. His specialty is working with metal, and if he teaches Aleesia to do that, it will be something she can continue on with for years to come. Aleesia is getting ready to start high school, and she will be attending Kelly Walsh High School. Her main reason for choosing Kelly Walsh is that her Aunt Liz is a teacher there. They are close, almost as close as Aleesia and her mom are. Most students go through Liz’s Freshman English class, so at some point, she will have Liz as a teacher. That is what excites 
Aleesia the most about high school. Liz is a great teacher, and Aleesia will learn a lot from her. I think it will be great. Today is Aleesia’s birthday. Happy birthday Aleesia!! Have a great day!! We love you!!
