My grandnephew, Jaxon Killinger and his dad, Chris Killinger have really been enjoying opening and collecting Pokémon this year. Chris got Jaxon into it. It’s a cool think that Jaxon and his dad can do together. Pokémon has been around a long time, or maybe its jut making a comeback. He has also been playing a lot of Fortnite to pass the time. Video games are a big thing with most kids these days. Jaxon, like most kids his age is quite skilled at the games.
Jaxon loves riding his dirt bike around the neighborhood. He wants to start saving money so we can get a E-bike. Papa Mike Stevens got a good deal on a kids’ quads. It was the greatest idea. The kids road all weekend long up on the mountain for the Fourth of July and Jaxon really, really enjoyed it. They have been able to do a little camping on the mountain this year, and Jaxon had a great time. There is nothing better for a kid than to get out and run around on the mountain or at the lake. The Killinger family finds camping to be a favorite pastime.
This has been a different Summer with his new baby sister coming (that story to follow at a later date). So, this summer Jaxon has been a big help around the house and learning new chores. He is super excited to meet his little sister and excited to help his stepmom, Lacey Killinger out caring for the baby. Jax is starting junior high this year. He’s a little nervous but he will do well. He will have new friends, and he’s excited to start basketball season. This year is going to be filled with firsts for Jaxon. He has never been a big brother before, 
for one thing, and while he is apprehensive about the new school, he is excited too, and I think he knows it will be alright. He is growing up fast, and before we know it, he will be in high school and beyond. The years go by too fast. Today is Jaxon’s 11th birthday. Happy birthday Jaxon!! Have a great day!! We love you!!
